Description

You won’t find much rotten in the state of Denmark, with Lonely Planet’s Copenhagen City Guide on your iPhone. If you can look past the Little Mermaid and Hans Christian Andersen, you’ll find this laidback, left-of-centre city is the coolest in all Scandinavia, and we’ve got the inside knowledge to help you make the most of your stay. From the crumbling hippy utopia of Christiana to the Renaissance fantasy of Rosenberg Castle; from the tradition of Royal Copenhagen to sleek modernism at the Danish Museum of Art & Design; and from the barest to the most baronial places to eat and sleep, you’ll find everything you need in this comprehensive little guide. Fantastisk!

Maps and resolution updated for iOS and iPhone 4!

I can't wait to use this for my trip to Copenhagen. This is the quality I expect from Lonely Planet!

Very Useful

:
I guess there's not really any content here that's not available on the Lonely Planet website, but this is a very nice portable form factor. I like how you can bookmark things by saving them to your "favourites." There's also a nice interactive map that can help you find nearby places of interest.

I'd love a feature on the app where I can see just my favourites on the map. I will have to admit, there's less content on this Copenhagen app than some of the other city guides from Lonely Planet, like Berlin for example. It'd be nice to see that reflected in the price. Still, overall I think this app is very useful and worth it.

Not worth $$, missing info

:
For a week in Copenhagen, I downloaded this, the GuidePal app (orange icon), and the CityScouter app (red icon). CityScouter wins, hands down-- it has a great transportation locator and a currency converter, built in! Plus all the feature LP has, but better presented. The LingoPal translator app also came in handy.
